Just back from my bike ride from East Perth to King's Park and back with Clemmie.
The weather conditions were perfect for cycling today.
Met up at 10+am and hopped onto the Red CAT then walked down to the foreshore to rent our bikes for 4 hours.
Cycled to King's Park, with various stops along the way, and took pictures.
She made ham and cheese sandwiches and egg and mayo sandwiches, and I brought the water and the maps.
The view from the War Memorial at King's Park is just breathtaking I tell you.
We took pictures, ate the sandwiches at various places and just lay in the sun and chilled.
I was riding without my helmet on in King's Park and then we saw this traffic patrol car.
So I pulled over and took my time to put my helmet on, and the patrol car stopped some distance from me.
When I finally got my helmet on and started on my way, then I realised that the officers were actually waiting for me to put my helmet on before they too went on their way!
So embarrassing! Hahaha..
Then we biked back to return our bikes and were supposed to go for Icey Ice but it was closed so we went home.
All in all, it was a fantastic day spent with an awesome friend.
