Just finished watching Disney's The Fox And The Hound.
There was a part where Willow Tweed had to leave Tod in the nature preserve, man that made me tear.
The song didn't really help either..
*Sighs* Classics like these stay in your heart no matter how old you get.
Widow Tweed:
We met, it seems, such a short time ago
You looked at me - needing me so
Yet from your sadness
Our happiness grew
And I found out I needed you too
I remember how we used to play
I recall those rainy days
The fire's glow
That kept us warm
And now I find - we're both alone
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart is a memory
And there you'll always be
Chorus:
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart is a memory
And there you'll always be
Woke up early and went with mom to SGH.
Fell asleep while waiting for her to get her memmogram done.
Waited till she got settled down in the ward before leaving for town.
Got my hair cut at the "Student Hair Cut $10" place in Far East then went to Wheelock's Zara to meet ah tan.
NYDC for lunch(mmm lagsana), then we walked to The Cathay to catch "Meet The Spartans".
Enjoyed it though I've already almost seen it twice online.
There were some scenes that only showed in the theatre but not online though so I guessed it was worth watching it in a cinema.
The tickets only cost $3 per person, cause I used the free ticket Buk gave me and bought the $6 student discount ticket.
The hospital called during the movie, said that mom was done with the op.
So after the movie I got back on the NEL and went to pick her up at SGH.
We went to eat a little cause she was starving, then cabbed home.
I just realised something a couple of minutes ago, while thinking about the song you introduced me to, the reason for us exchanging emails. I think I know the reason why I'm still not addicted to that game. Cause without you, the game doesn't mean much to me. I mean, sure my friends in the game mean something, but I don't think that amount can compare to how much you mean to me. Just wish that I'd mean half that amount to you.
I can't play this song anymore.
And you don't need me
And you don't love me
The way I wish you would
The way I know you could
Classes ended on the 1st of Feb.
From then till now its been a holiday for me.
Staying home, going out late, going for chalets and bbqs, sleeping more than 12 hours a day.
I've done it all.
And after a month of slacking, thank God I'm still unaddicted to that game.
The bbq at auntie's place last Sunday was fantastic.
It was great to be able to see all the members of the FCC(+ other halves) in one place, even though it was only for a short time.
But we had fun lah right?
There was a lot of boyfriend bonding going on as well.
And we learnt that Sze and Wii are quite a dangerous combination if you're sitting to her left.
We also learnt that the Paris Hilton of Feli's family has this killer death glare.
I swear if I had scored a strike during bowling, she'd have chucked me over the balcony and send me down 10 storeys.
Yeesh, scary.
On a more emo note:
Today's the first time I've seen or heard from you in a long time.
Seems like nothing much has changed.
My heart still races, my temperature still drops.
I still start shivering uncontrollably and my chain of thought still crumbles before your presence.
Try as I might, the fact is that I'm still not over you yet.
That's just undenyable.
You guys really HAVE TO watch this when it comes out here.
The dance scenes were just a-ma-zing.. And hot.
I'm so down for watching it again, anyone wants to join me?
Step Up 2: The Streets
And yes! I am graduating! But with a crapass GPA of 2.3.. ><
She whispers, "Happy birthday, I love you still."
But no one will hear.
