Its gonna be Thursday and Deepavali in another 40 minutes and I'm at home blasting Bullet For My Valentine on my headphone while waiting for Fight Club to load to where I left it off at 90 minutes.
Friday,
Ended up skipping school and sleeping in till late.
Headed to school at 4 to take the Structural Biology UT.
It wasn't good, wasn't bad either.
Then went to Wheelock with Shikin to meet Sze.
Left Shikin in Borders and met Sze and her two JC friends Serene and Sam at Starbucks.
Ordered a choc cream frapp but two American umm.. teenagers took my drink, assuming it was theirs, with coffee.
So we quickly realised the mistake and they offered to pay but the Starbucks staff had made me another complimentary drink so I didn't wanna take their money.
They kinda insisted and after some back and forth, we returned the money.
Waited for Lena to come then we sat around somemore before deciding to head out for dinner.
Serene and Sam didn't join us and we headed to NYDC.
Had lagsana and Max's Oreo Cheesecake.
I should've checked the price of the cake before I ordered, it turned out to be $7 plus.
What a waste of good money.
After shoving the last of the food and cake down my oesophagus, we sat around and taked abit more before heading to the Lido bus stop then heading home.
I like the FCC, cause we can talk to each other about literally everything.
From rude British tourists, to gayish government policies, to racist bloggers.
We got home unusually early but then again I had to get up at 6.30am for work the next day.
Saturday,
Met Leo at Harbourfront and we took the shuttle to Sentosa to report for work.
I got the guys' uniform and was posted at the prestigious main golf club house.
Its a shame I'm not a golf fan and can't tell an international golfer apart from a normal European golfer without the kancheong atmosphere and the presence of a caddy.
So I stood at the tinted, gold plated, two-way swing doors of the clubhouse and told people which buses to take all day.
Meh, I saw so many players and rich folk that I probably got cross-eyed from it all.
Some of the players were so whiny and needed to be babied, but others were more matured and understanding.
The staff at the reception were really nice too, treated me to drinks.
And I got to have the walkie-talkie to call for buses if they didn't arrive.
Headed home exhausted cause I didn't have any time or place to sit down while at work.
It was killer on my calves.
Sunday,
Reported at 8am at Taka for the Subaru Impreza Challenge Marshall's duty.
Saw Lena and Colin taking a smoke break.
Man, they looked beat from working 11pm-8am.
Dean and CS came soon after and we were put to work, I was taking care of Car 4.
Got to know the contestants pretty well and all.
Dean got into a fight in the afternoon when he disqualified someone at Car 5.
Bugger actually slapped Dean a few times before whacking Dean in the back, which resulted in the contestant's nose being broken/bloodied.
Hahaha go Dean!
Dean also said that his friends managed to get the entire thing on film, can't wait to see it.
We knocked off work at 11pm, when it started to rain heavily.
Poor contestants really had it hard, and the marshalls have it hard too.
Monday
Slept till 1pm and woke up with calf cramps and sore, aching feet and a light sunburn.
Met CS close to 3pm and had some lunch at Macs before reporting for our 3pm-11pm shift.
It wasn't as hot as compared to Tuesday and we didn't have to spritz the contestants down at all.
Also, there was pretty good eye candy for us in the form of Jean Danker and one other marshall. (:
But I like Vanetta Lopez's personality more, at least she smiles at us.
Also, I didn't know Soo with her cool boots and all was the new Say It With Music DJ.
Man, I'm gonna go back to listening to the radio. :D
CS, Esther and I went home at 11pm even though CS and I were supposed to work till 8am.
Damn the extra marshalls.
Tuesday
Was supposed to work at 8am but I couldn't get up.
Got up around 2pm and watched abit of the anime Chokotto Sister.
Headed back down to Taka and managed to catch the finale and saw who won.
Car 6's Lillian did pretty well, she was the runner up for the women's side.
I spoke to her on Monday evening and she was kinda funny, telling me to tell her if she started hallucinating.
They were really really strict and perhaps that's why she lost.
Over 77 hours of no sleep and sticking your hand on a car and you get nothing, its really a shame.
Dinner at Food Republic then home sweet home to watch somemore anime.
Today
Got up and finished my anime.
Mom didn't go to work today so she bought Burger King back for me for lunch.
Stayed home, completed my Chokotto Sister anime and went on to watch a couple more movies, Balto, Balto 2: Wolf Quest, Balto 3: Wings Of Change and now Fight Club.
For those who haven't watched Balto, really, go watch it, its on youtube.com.
Its an old animated movie about an outcast 'halfbreed wolfdog' who braves a killer Alaskian storm to recover medicine for the sick folk in his small town, and he obviously gets the girl along the way.
Balto's such a hero, and the movie's based on a true story.
Inspiring heroics. (:
Bah, its 11.55pm and only 60minutes of Fight Club has loaded.
Another 30minutes more before I can continue my movie.
FCC tomorrow, hope it'll be interesting.
